Are you overweight? Are you ready to make some changes?

About this Event

Being overweight and underactive puts you at risk for developing prediabetes and
diabetes. The good news is….with small weekly changes you can reverse this.
Meritus Medical Center is offering the Diabetes Prevention Program- (DPP) Prevent T2
to help you meet your goals of better health and weight loss.
This program has proven to decrease your risk of developing diabetes by over 50%…AND IT IS FREE!

Join us to find out if this program is right for you!

Meet a lifestyle coach who will support you through this journey and help you to:

* understand healthier eating
* learn how to add physical activity into your day
* learn how to deal with stressors.

Sessions will be held virtually via ZOOM.
You will need internet access and a computer or cell phone with a camera.
Please contact us if virtual classes are needed and you lack the internet capability.

Information Session via ZOOM on: Wednesday May 18, 2022 from 6-7 p.m.
Weekly Zoom classes begin: Wednesday June 1, 2022 through June 1 2023 6-7 p.m.
There are 16 weekly sessions followed by bi-weekly sessions for a total of 6 months- then monthly sessions for another 6 months.
