Navigating the legal and financial aspects of providing primary care to others can be daunting. During this virtual program, Jeanne Singer, CPA, JD and Cynthia Moore, CPA will discuss some of the basic legal and financial items caregivers should be aware of to protect themselves and their loved one and to be prepared for the future. Discussion will include informed consent, privacy, power of attorney, advance directives, DNR (do not resuscitate) documentation, and more.

Jeanne F. Singer, CPA, JD is a certified public account and attorney focusing on tax and estate planning. She creates estate plans for clients that include wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and life insurance trusts.
Cynthia Moore, CPA is VP and CFO for Sulchek and Moore. She has extensive expertise in taxation and accounting for estates and trusts, and leads the CPA Eldercare financial division, assisting older clients with special needs.
