Mindfulness Techniques to Help Caregivers

November 16, 2022 @ 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm

FREE

Caring for a loved one is often a physically and emotionally draining experience. Stress, exhaustion and burnout are quite common. If not addressed, it can take a toll on one’s health, relationships and emotional well-being. This program will explore the importance of self-care and discuss coping mechanisms and mindfulness techniques to help better manage the caregiving journey.

Susan Corley, LCSW-C, is an outpatient therapist at Brook Lane’s North Village Outpatient Office. She received her Master’s Degree in Social Work from the University of Pittsburgh, Pittsburgh, PA. Susan has been employed with Brook Lane for more than 22 years.
