Are you overweight? Are you ready to make some changes?

About this Event

Being overweight and underactive puts you at risk for developing prediabetes and diabetes. The good news is…. with small weekly changes you can reverse this. Meritus Medical Center is offering the Diabetes Prevention Program- (DPP) Prevent T2 to help you meet your goals of better health and weight loss. This year-long program has proven to decrease your risk of developing diabetes by over 50%.

Join us to find out if this program is right for you! Meet a lifestyle coach who will support you through this journey and help you to better understand healthier eating, how to add physical activity and how to deal with stressors. Sessions will be held virtually via ZOOM. You will need internet access and a computer, cell phone, or tablet with a camera to participate. Please contact us if you would like to participate in a virtual class but lack the internet or device capability.

The information session allows for class material pick up and to meet your coach before the virtual sessions start.

Virtual zoom sessions will then begin on Wednesday, February 22, 2023 and run through January 2024
The program consists of weekly sessions for 16-18 weeks for the first 6 months then monthly sessions for 6 months.
